Matt and Tara’s Rainy Salisbury, MD Wedding {Frederick Maryland Wedding Photographer}

Simply put, Tara and Matt were meant to be together. I don’t know if I believe that everyone has that “perfect” someone out there, but I do believe that God brings couples together for a reason, and I believe that Matt and Tara are a beautiful example of that.  Tara recently blogged about her and Matt stating, “Our faith is our everything. Without our faith in God and Jesus as our Savior, I am not sure where we would be in life. So often we find ourselves having to trust in the hope of God and I know that has brought us even closer together as “Matt and Tara.” We love one another because he first loved us. We want to glorify Christ through our marriage. We want to open up our home to our friends and family. Everything we do, we strive to honor God through our actions, words, and love. Finding a man who loves God more than me has been the single most humbling and wonderful experience in my 25 years of existence on this earth. I look up to Matt because he leads me and helps point me back to God. After all, Matt and I first met at a Cru weekly meeting where we were worshipping our Creator and falling more in love with God…I love our love story. I treasure and cherish how God has been with us through many difficult seasons and times in our individual lives as well as together.”

I couldn’t have said it any better!  Matt and Tara are a treasure as individuals, and even more so as a couple.  I consider myself blessed to have been able to disciple Tara at Salisbury University, and it was an even greater honor to get to photograph Matt and Tara’s beautiful wedding day.  So without further ado, here are a few images that capture their special day!

Tara and Matt wanted to do their first glance at a nearby lake, but the weather had other plans!  Not to be discouraged, we instead went to our Alma mater, Salisbury University, and photographed their first glance on the steps of Holloway Hall.  With umbrellas in tow, we were able to capture some gorgeous images!  I also love that their “first glance” was at the same school where they first glanced each other five years ago 🙂
