East Lynn Farm Wedding {Gunnar & Rebecca}
I’m so excited to bring you Rebecca and Gunnar’s East Lynn Farm Wedding! I happen to be the oldest of seven (six girls and one boy) and Rebecca is number four in the line-up. Rebecca has a very dynamic personality and is by far the most social and outgoing of us girls. Anyone who has met Gunnar knows the boy doesn’t talk. Like ever. So when I first met Gunnar I feared Rebecca would walk all over him and soon drive him crazy. He surprised us all by not only sticking around but proving that he was strong enough to be a leader for my sister and someone that she and the family could respect. My whole family now loves Gunnar and we are so happy that God brought the two of them together (and that he finally talks around us!)
Rebecca’s wedding was the first time that I was both in a wedding and photographing it as well. If you are a photographer and are considering photographing a family member’s wedding I would highly recommend hiring a photographer for at least the ceremony and portraits so that you can relax and enjoy that part of the day. A huge shout out to Thera Vanderveer Photography for working with Brent and I and capturing Rebecca’s ceremony and many of the details. Brent also stepped up and photographed the majority of the getting ready pictures so that I could get ready myself! Balancing being a sister, bridesmaid, and photographer was a challenge but I’m thankful I was able to get these beautiful images of Gunnar and Rebecca’s wedding. Enjoy!
Rebecca and Gunnar had their ceremony and reception at East Lynn Farm and they couldn’t have had a more beautiful day.
This little cutie is my nephew Caleb. He’s pretty tough. Man we are one good lookin bunch of ladies!
Rebecca was absolutely stunning! She may have been the most beautiful bride to ever grace this earth (in addition to her oldest sister of course.)
What this picture doesn’t show is that just seconds prior to walking down the aisle, Rebecca was yelling at my dad to stop checking the Giants score hahaha. (Giants won by the way!)
The lighting after the ceremony was the stuff that photographers’ dreams are made of!
30 weeks pregnant, wearing a bridesmaid dress, photographing barefoot (cuz my heels weren’t particularly comfortable), and still workin it like a boss 😉
Like all normal families, every Easter us siblings gather in the mini forest behind our house wearing our Sunday best to create a family picture reminiscent of the cover of any CW TV show. As you can see, Rebecca has a flair for the dramatic 😉 No mercy.
Congrats again Rebecca & Gunnar! Your East Lynn Farm Wedding was gorgeous and we are so happy for you two! To see more photoshoots of this beautiful couple, be sure to check out their engagement shoot and Christmas shoot.
