Antrim 1844 Wedding Pictures
I have literally been counting down the days to this wedding for months now! I have always wanted to photograph an Antrim 1844 wedding and when Sara contacted me about photographing her wedding there I couldn’t have been more excited. I was thrilled not only about the gorgeous venue but also about getting to be a part of Sara and Corey’s wedding day. I met Sara back in the summer of 2008 when I served as a student leader for one of Salisbury University’s freshman orientation trips at Assateague Island. The weather wasn’t great and the food was even worse (ie plain rice and beans for dinner one night) but by the end of the trip Sara and I were fast friends and we remained close throughout the remainder of my two years in college.
I couldn’t have picked a better man for Sara if I tried. Corey is funny, easy going, loving, and a chef! The food at Antrim 1844 was amazing and it was obvious Corey put a lot of thought into their menu. All day Corey couldn’t help hugging, kissing, and shouting “hey wifey!” at Sara. It was so sweet seeing the two of them together, and Brent and I were so honored to be a part of their beautiful day.
The grounds of Antrim 1844 are stunning!
Corey was really enjoying getting his model on haha
This is why I love first glances. Corey was so overwhelmed with his blushing bride he couldn’t stop kissing her and exclaiming over how beautiful she looked 🙂
Antrim 1844‘s pool area is gorgeous but looking at it on such a hot July day was a bit tortuous!
Some Ricky Bobby action…I can’t even.
Antrim 1844’s ceremony location is straight out of a fairy tale.
Once the ceremony was over we figured it was safe to get our feet wet. (Yes I totally joined in!) This cake by Snickerdoodles Bakery tasted just as good as it looked. Believe me 😉 Shrink the Deficit was an awesome band, I love live music at weddings!
I love that yard games are becoming more popular at weddings these days. Corey is a bit of a cornhole aficionado and made most of these boards, including the cornhole guestbook which he surprised Sara with! Wedding Vendors:
