I haven’t done as many newborn lifestyle shoots as I have weddings or seniors, but each one is so special to me.  There is something breathtaking about capturing the interaction between parents and newborns, especially for the firstborn.  This newborn shoot was extra special because it was a birthday gift for Kelly from her sister, Jamie!  When Jamie approached me about surprising her sister, I was so excited to meet them.  Soon after, we discovered that we all go to church at Mountain View Community Church in Urbana.  Having spent an afternoon getting to know little Camden and his parents, Kelly and Ben, I look forward to seeing more of them each weekend and watching Camden grow.  He was the perfect gentleman for this shoot, and his pictures are adorable!  Please enjoy scrolling through his shoot and join me in welcoming Camden to the world!

I’m not going to lie, by the time I finished photographing all of Camden’s little features I was starting to miss the newborn phase. Not enough to have another baby just yet, but close haha
