My crazy fall photography season has finally died down, which means its time to get back to blogging! I have so many fun engagement, maternity, senior and even family shoots that I can’t wait to share with you! In honor of Brent and I going to Old Town Alexandria tonight, I thought I’d start off by sharing Grace and Mike’s beautiful Old Town Alexandria engagement photos with you! I was a little nervous driving to their shoot because it rained half of the way there, but thankfully the skies cleared up and we even got a little but of color at sunset for their shoot. We started off at the fountain in front of Alexandria City Hall and from there headed down some really cute side streets and back alleys before ending at the waterfront. I had so much fun getting to know them better, and can’t wait for their fall 2021 wedding!

Also, embarrassing story: I was almost late to their Old Town Alexandria engagement shoot because I couldn’t find my phone anywhere after parking. It was just in my hand and suddenly it was gone. I literally searched my car for 10 minutes, thought I was losing my mind, and asked someone in the parking garage if they could call my phone for me. They stared at me like I was an idiot but finally agreed to call me. I found my phone sitting on the roof of my black car, screen side up so it had blended in. I felt about as much of an idiot as the person calling me probably thought I was hahaha.

I love all of the cobblestone streets and back alleys in Old Town Alexandria.

Grace’s favorite color is yellow, so when I saw this wall I knew we had to get a few pictures with it!

The beautiful pink sky lasted all of one and a half minutes, but we managed to grab one last picture in front of it before the color went away!
