Bluebird Manor Wedding Photos
Jessi & Mike’s Bluebird Manor wedding was the perfect end to a crazy 2020 wedding season. Their wedding was so full of laughter, joy, and happy tears. Jessica was positively breathtaking, her joy and excitement were utterly contagious, and her train was the stuff of dreams. Everyone was so kind and fun to work with and I loved the way Jessi and Mike incorporated their children into their wedding day. More than once I found myself tearing up, first during Jess’s sweet first glance with her dad, then during Mike’s beautiful and hilarious vows, and finally when Jess shared a special dance with her 90 year old grandfather. Despite it being windy and overcast, the dark blue clouds around sunset made for stunning images and the gray skies gave us the opportunity to photograph in a variety of spots that would have been too bright had it been sunny. I left their wedding feeling so happy for Jess and Mike and so thankful to call wedding photography my job. Now sit back, grab a glass of wine, (and maybe a tissue) and enjoy their gorgeous Bluebird Manor wedding photos!
I just adore the bridal suite, fondly referred to as “The Nest” at Bluebird Manor.
Jessi was a gorgeous bride and her train was the most beautiful train I’ve ever seen!
Jessi had wanted to do her first touch around the red barn, but since guests started arriving early we decided on this cute silo instead which I just love.
Jess & Mike chose to get married inside The Chapel at Bluebird Manor, which turned out to be a good thing given how windy and chilly it was. LeRoy French Flowers also did a beautiful job decorating it.
The officiant’s masks were the best thing that’s come out of covid! She peeled them off one at a time, first reading “Ready?” then “Sure?” followed by “Last Chance” and ending with “Game on!”
It’s so easy to capture beautiful Bluebird Manor wedding photos because there’s so many gorgeous backdrops (and because Jessi and Mike are pretty dang gorgeous themselves!)
There wasn’t much of a sunset due to it being so overcast but we still got some beautiful blues in the sky!
I just adore the rustic elegance of Bluebird Manor’s Red Barn.
Jessica’s grandfather celebrated his 90th birthday on their wedding day and the two of them shared the sweetest dance together.
Towards the end of the night, I pulled Jess & Mike for a few last pictures romantic night photos. Thankfully, Mike and Jess trusted us to be a little creative with deodorant spray (props to Mark from MAO cinematic for the idea!) and the results were gorgeous!
