Bluebird Manor Wedding

I have been looking forward to Bailey & Brady’s Bluebird Manor wedding for months! Bluebird Manor is a gorgeous, brand new Frederick MD wedding venue and it’s only fitting that Bailey and Brady’s wedding was one of their first since Bailey’s mom, Carol, is the owner of Bluebird Manor! It’s been so fun seeing all of the renovations and changes that they’ve made this past year and a half and the final results are stunning. Not only is Bluebird Manor beautiful, but Bailey, Carol and their entire family are just so sweet and such a joy to work with. They truly love their property and have put so much care and countless loving touches into making it a perfect wedding venue.

And then there’s Bailey and Brady; one of the sweetest, kindest, and most madly in love couples I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing. I truly believe Bailey and Brady were made for each other. They fit perfectly together, strengthen and compliment each other, and love each other completely. I literally cried during their sweet vows and when Bailey first walked down the aisle and I feel so honored that I got to capture their beautiful love story. Their wedding was a dream made perfect by gorgeous golden hour light, an incredible vendor team – shout out to Allie from Of Joy Signature Events for helping everything run smoothly- a fun bridal party, and two wonderful, caring families.

The bridal suite at Bluebird Manor, known as “The Nest” is as cute as they come. I love the wallpaper, all of the adorable vintage furniture, and the amount of space and natural light! It allows for gorgeous getting ready photos of the bride and her bridesmaids.

When you have a bride as beautiful as Bailey you have to spend a little extra time on bridal portraits. Especially when Bluebird Manor lets you bring their stunning vintage furniture out into the yard for some gorgeous portraits!

After photographing Bailey with her bridesmaids, I headed over to where Brady was getting ready with his groomsmen at an awesome spot BlueBird Manor refers to as “The Tool Shed.” Bluebird Manor Wedding Groom getting ready Brady was looking pretty dapper himself, I love the bow ties!Bluebird Manor Wedding Photos Bluebird Manor Wedding Groom getting ready Bluebird Manor Wedding Groom getting readyBluebird Manor groomsmen photos Bluebird Manor groomsmen photos Bluebird Manor groomsmen photos Bluebird Manor groomsmen photos

Many of my brides choose to do a first look with their groom, but those who don’t often choose to instead do what I call a “First Touch.” It’s a time where they can spend a few minutes together right before the ceremony without seeing each other. It’s always emotional and I love how my couples make it their own. Sometimes they exchange letters or gifts, other times they just talk or pray together. Bailey and Brady asked their officiant to pray over them and it was such a sweet moment that I’m sure they’ll never forget. Bailey and Brady chose to get married in The Chapel – a beautifully renovated white barn. As soon as they walked out of the barn, Bailey and Brady headed to a nearby field to have a couple minutes alone before greeting all their guests. I loved getting to capture how excited they were to finally be husband and wife!

The Red Barn is Bluebird Manor’s wedding reception site and is beautiful! After their first dances, Bailey and Brady snuck away for a few quick sunset wedding photos in their wildflower field. The sun had already set so we literally ran there before we lost the light! I grabbed this shot of Bailey and Brady running from over my shoulder while I was also running. It’s not perfectly in focus but I still love it so much because of the joy and movement it captures.
