I had the privilege of meeting Tara and Matt five years ago when they were freshmen and I was a senior at Salisbury University.  They both became involved in Cru – a Christian organization on campus – and after a few months I, along with everyone else, was so excited when they started dating.  Tara and Matt are both wonderful, kind, and sweet individuals whom I admire for their desire to keep God at the forefront of their relationship.  I’ve kept in contact with them over the years, especially since my sister Grace is very close with Tara as well.  Needless to say, when Tara contacted me about doing their wedding pictures I was absolutely thrilled!

We decided to do their engagement shoot at a place that is very near and dear to all of our hearts; Salisbury University.  (The greatest University in the world, p.s.)  Brent and I had a lot of fun with these two as we walked our old stomping grounds and got some incredible pictures of Tara and Matt in the process.

              We of course had to get a couple images in front of apartment 3A where Matt first asked Tara out 🙂

Tara loves making DIY crafts and brought along a few cute signs to incorporate into their engagement shoot!  So cute!

Because their faith is so important to them, Tara and Matt wanted to incorporate their Bible into a few of their images.  I love these next few shots 🙂

The sun was setting quickly, but with the last remaining light, we went to a local pond to grab a few shots with Matt’s dog.  This is also where they’ll be doing their first glance in just six months 🙂
