Oh man, I am so excited to bring you this engagement shoot. There are some couples who are so totally and completely in love that they can’t help but constantly be cuddling, kissing, and wrapping up in each other’s arms. Which can perhaps be a bit annoying when you’re the friend who is always having to witness this, but for a photographer it’s a dream come true haha. Bailey and Brady are beautifully young and in love and made my job so easy as I captured their Cylburn Arboretum engagement photos.  They’re also just really sweet people and I have so enjoyed getting to know them. This was my first time photographing at Cylburn Mansion and while I didn’t particularly enjoy having to drive through the straight up ghetto to get there (thanks google maps!) I did love the variety of backgrounds that made me feel as if I was photographing in the woods, the country, an estate, and a tropical rain forest all in one spot.

Bailey and Brady will be getting married at a brand new venue next fall – BlueBird Manor – and I am so excited to get to photograph there. Bailey is actually the facility coordinator and head of sales for Bluebird Manor which is a family owned business. I recently had the privilege of touring it and absolutely loved it! They’re still in the midst of finalizing some construction, but I know it’s going to be a gorgeous venue when it’s done!

These two are just so dang cute!

The next photo is one of my favorite engagement pictures of all time. Whenever I’m photographing, at the beginning of each shoot I spend time looking at the light, figuring out the direction it will take during our 1 – 2 hour shoot, and then plan the order of the different locations we’ll photograph in based on where the light will be at any given time. When I first saw this spot I knew it could look incredible with just the right light and I was so happy when we perfectly timed it to create such a beautiful series of images.
