It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time for the class of 2020 to start thinking about scheduling their senior shoots! I’m gearing up for senior portraits season over here and figured it was high time I blog a few of my favorite senior picture shoots from this past year. First up is Jenna’s beautiful horse senior pictures shoot that we did at her home. In case you haven’t noticed by now, I absolutely LOVE doing senior pictures with horses, and Jenna’s shoot was no exception. I just find the bond between a girl and her horse so beautiful and I love being able to photograph that relationship.

One of the reasons I love photographing high school seniors is because I have so much fun getting to know and connect with them. Jenna is truly a special young woman and I instantly found myself clicking with her. Her entire family is so incredibly sweet (wait until you see the sisters photos!) and I was so impressed with how Jenna carried herself. She was a complete natural in front of the camera and probably could have pursued a career in modeling had she not left for the Coast Guard Academy a few days after our shoot!

Jenna has some of the most striking blue eyes I’ve ever seen.

The sky was pretty dreary and overcast for most of Jenna’s shoot, but thankfully I found literally one spot of sunlight peaking out through the clouds and Jenna was willing to hike halfway across her property for us to reach it and get these golden hour images! I’d say it was worth it!

No, we are not on the set of the Sound of Music here but it sure felt like it!

These two sisters were so stinkin cute together! Such sweet sisterly love 🙂
