Meet my friend Kelly, who proves that you can be 38 weeks pregnant and still absolutely stunning! I met Kelly when I photographed her first son, Camden, for a  newborn shoot a couple years ago.  We found out we both attended Mountain View Community Church and as we’re always looking for friends in our same stage of life, we stayed in contact and soon started getting together for summer BBQs and playdates.  When she got pregnant with little Cole, I was thrilled to get to photograph her Frederick Maryland maternity shoot, especially when our December day turned out to be 58 degrees! Less than two weeks after our shoot, Kelly welcomed little Cole into the world and he is adorable.

I recently started offering maternity gowns as part of my maternity experience, and Kelly was my first momma who got to try them out. I love the two dresses Kelly chose and the contrast they offered. I still can’t decide which gown I like more; I adore the color of the wine gown but can’t get enough of how beautiful and flowy the blue dress is. I currently have nine gowns in my maternity collection and seem to be adding additional gowns weekly! All of my maternity shoots include a free gown rental, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in setting up a maternity shoot.

It may have been 58 degrees outside, but I’ve always wanted to do a snow maternity shoot so I decided to have a little fun in photoshop and am pretty happy with how this image came out!
