Bailey and Steve couldn’t have asked for a prettier day for their Sugarloaf Mountain Engagement Shoot. After two months of almost straight rain, I was starting to wonder if I’d ever photograph outdoors again! Thankfully, they had a crisp fall afternoon with even a little sun at the beginning of the shoot.

Bailey and Steve met two years ago in downtown Baltimore at a local restaurant. They both had gone with friends to watch a Monday night football game but starting chatting during the game and have been together ever since! At the time, Bailey was a nurse in Baltimore City and Steve was playing baseball for the Baltimore Orioles. Despite their love for Baltimore, they chose to do their engagement shoot closer to Bailey’s home at Sugarloaf Mountain. In their spare time they love hiking and exploring different national parks. In fact, just days before our photo shoot Bailey & Steve had returned from an almost two week trip in which they drove from Seattle to the Napa Valley stopping to explore and hike all along the way! While Sugarloaf may not be quite as spectacular as some of the Western landscapes, it felt like the perfect spot for their engagement shoot.
