Hailey & Jake’s Bluebird Manor wedding photos capture one of those days perfectly. Bluebird Manor — one of Frederick, Maryland’s most beloved wedding venues — provides a timeless backdrop that truly came to life for this fall celebration. From the vibrant fall color to the golden hour glow (the kind photographers get way too excited about!), their wedding was filled with heartfelt emotion and joyful moments.

Middle school sweethearts, Hailey & Jake’s love story began more than twelve years ago on an 8th-grade class trip to Washington, DC. Hailey spotted Jake on the bus, thought he was cute, and decided to go for it — getting his number from a friend and texting him to meet her in the back of the bus for a kiss. Jake assumed she was joking and ignored the message (bold move, Jake), but the two soon started talking. After plenty of middle school flirting, they became inseparable and have been together ever since.

Years later, Jake proposed along the Portsmouth coastline in a moment Hailey never saw coming. What she thought was a simple walk to a pier for photos turned into a surprise proposal — followed by an even bigger surprise when she turned around to see all of their family and friends waiting nearby. There were happy tears, lots of emotion, and the kind of moment that instantly becomes part of your forever story.

From that middle school bus ride to the moment Jake got down on one knee, their relationship has always been rooted in connection and joy — qualities that carried beautifully into their wedding day.

Bluebird Manor is one of Frederick, Maryland’s most beloved wedding venues, and Hailey and Jake’s day was a perfect example of how beautifully this property comes to life in the fall.

Bluebird Manor holds a deeply personal meaning for Jake. Owned by his aunt and uncle, the estate was part of his childhood long before it ever became a wedding venue. When it came time to choose where to get married, Hailey & Jake couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to begin their marriage — and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better fit.

A beloved Frederick MD wedding venue, Bluebird Manor is known for its antique charm, expansive grounds, and timeless estate feel. Hailey & Jake were drawn to its classic character and planned an unplugged wedding day that allowed everyone to be fully present — soaking in the moments, the laughter, and yes, the gorgeous setting.

Though they live in New Hampshire, Hailey & Jake planned a destination wedding and traveled down from Portsmouth just days before the celebration. Their fall wedding day unfolded effortlessly, filled with laughter, happy tears, and quiet moments together on the manor grounds as the sun dipped low behind the trees. (That golden hour? Chef’s kiss.) As a Bluebird Manor wedding photographer, it was such an honor to document a wedding so rich in family history and genuine emotion.
