Bluebird Manor Wedding
Bluebird Manor Wedding
I have been looking forward to Bailey & Brady’s Bluebird Manor wedding for months! Bluebird Manor is a gorgeous Frederick MD wedding venue, and it was only fitting that Bailey and Brady’s wedding was one of the very first celebrations held there — especially since Bailey’s mom, Carol, is the owner of Bluebird Manor.
It has been such a joy watching this property come to life over the past year and a half. The renovations and thoughtful details are absolutely stunning, and every inch of the venue reflects the care and love that Bailey, Carol, and their family have poured into it. Not only is Bluebird Manor beautiful, but the entire family is genuinely kind, warm, and such a pleasure to work with. Their heart for the property — and for the couples who get married there — is evident in everything they do.
And then there’s Bailey and Brady — one of the sweetest, kindest, and most genuinely in-love couples I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing.
I truly believe these two were made for each other. They fit together perfectly, strengthen and complement one another, and love each other deeply and wholeheartedly. I cried during their vows, cried again when Bailey walked down the aisle, and felt so incredibly honored to capture their love story. Their wedding day was a dream made complete by gorgeous golden hour light, an incredible vendor team (huge shout-out to Allie from Of Joy Signature Events for keeping everything running so smoothly!), a fun bridal party, and two wonderful, caring families.
A Bluebird Manor Wedding Filled With Family, Heart, and Golden Light
From the very start of the day, every moment felt intentional and meaningful. Getting ready at Bluebird Manor offered the perfect mix of charm, natural light, and space — setting the tone for a wedding day that felt relaxed, joyful, and full of emotion.

I love the shade of the bridesmaid robes that Bailey picked out.

Such a sweet moment between Bailey and her mom.
The bridal suite at Bluebird Manor, known as The Nest, is as cute as they come. Between the wallpaper, adorable vintage furniture, and beautiful natural light, it’s the perfect space for getting ready and photographing sweet moments with the bride and her bridesmaids.

When you have a bride as beautiful as Bailey, you have to spend a little extra time on bridal portraits — especially when Bluebird Manor lets you bring their stunning vintage furniture out into the yard for gorgeous portraits.

I love when my brides choose to do a first look with their dad. It is always such a sweet, emotional moment and allows for beautiful candid images.

How I love these bridesmaid dresses that Bailey picked out!!

After photographing Bailey with her bridesmaids, I headed over to where Brady was getting ready with his groomsmen at one of Bluebird Manor’s most fun spots — the “Tool Shed.”
Brady was looking pretty dapper himself, I love the bow ties!

Intentional Moments and a Joy-Filled Celebration at Bluebird Manor
Many of my couples choose to do a first look before the ceremony, but for those who don’t, I always suggest what I call a first touch. It’s a quiet moment together right before the ceremony where the couple can spend a few minutes side by side without seeing each other. It’s always emotional, and I love how each couple makes it their own — sometimes exchanging letters or gifts, sometimes talking or praying together.
Bailey and Brady asked their officiant to pray over them during their first touch, and it was such a sweet, meaningful moment — one I know they’ll never forget.
One of the many things I love about a Bluebird Manor wedding is the variety of ceremony locations on the property. Bailey and Brady chose to get married in The Chapel, a beautifully renovated white barn that feels both timeless and intimate.

Immediately after the ceremony, Bailey and Brady headed to a nearby field to spend a few quiet minutes alone before greeting their guests. I loved capturing how excited they were to finally be husband and wife.

The Red Barn is Bluebird Manor’s reception space, and it is stunning. The combination of rustic charm, elegance, and glamour — especially those crystal chandeliers and the grand staircase — creates such a beautiful setting for celebrating.

After their first dances, Bailey and Brady snuck away for a few quick sunset portraits in the wildflower field. The sun had already dipped low, so we literally ran to catch the last bit of light. One of my favorite images from the day is a photo of them running together — taken over my shoulder while I was also running. It’s not perfectly in focus, but I love it because it captures exactly how the moment felt: joyful, spontaneous, and full of movement.

Later in the evening, I pulled Bailey and Brady away for a few more minutes to capture romantic night portraits. It was a spectacular ending to an incredible Bluebird Manor wedding day.
