Brent and I had been looking forward to this Linganore Winecellars wedding for awhile now. Hailey and Gage are so relaxed and easy going together and won forever points after they gave me cake pops and Taco Bell at their engagement shoot!  I also love the venue of Linganore Winecellars and couldn’t wait to capture gorgeous images around the vineyard.  As the weather forecast became more and more dismal, I started to wonder if those beautiful wedding pictures would happen. Thankfully, the morning of their wedding the forecast looked more optimistic, and as the day progressed the thunderstorms kept getting pushed back until later and later in the afternoon.  We were able to get quite a few getting ready and bridal party portraits outside, and Hailey & Gage even were able to hold their Linganore Winecellars wedding ceremony outside before the rain struck!  We were all so thankful that the weather cooperated as much as it did.

Gage and Hailey attended the same middle and high school but did not really get to know each other until years later when they were both volunteers at a preschool’s day camp.  Their personalities completely complimented each other’s and somewhere between Taco Bell lunches and spending time together at camp they became smitten!  Hailey and Gage enjoy spending as much time together as possible. They love staying in, doing home improvements, picking pumpkins during the fall, and going on mini vacations when they can.  Together they’ve gone to Williamsburg, Maine, and Disney World, and hope to keep adding more locations to that list.

I’m in love with these next few portraits of Gage and sadly I can’t take any credit for them as they were all Brent.  I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little annoyed that they’re not mine! (Yes, I may be a bit competitive haha.)

Gage’s proposal caught Hailey completely off guard when he popped the question at home with only the family’s Great Danes as witnesses. Hailey and Gage are so excited for this next stage of life.  They have their dream jobs, a fur-baby to love, and are currently searching for the perfect home to start their married life together! 

Hailey’s dress was made from her mother’s wedding dress! They updated it and tailored it to perfectly fit Hailey and she looked gorgeous in it! Her crown also was worn by her godmother in her wedding. 

Signs like these make this photographer’s heart sing!

Most photographers say their favorite thing to photograph is the groom’s expression when he sees his bride walking down the aisle.  While that’s definitely up there for me, I think my favorite wedding moment to photograph is the joy and excitement on my couple’s faces when they are finally pronounced man and wife! Look how excited these two are!

The rain started almost as soon as the ceremony ended, so we took cover under the barn at Linganore Winecellars for family portraits and would quickly step outside for portraits whenever the rain stopped for a minute or two.

I love me some golden hour, but there’s something so romantic about rainy day umbrella wedding pictures.

Man they are just too cute together!

Much to my excitement, the rain never let up which meant we were able to capture a few stunning wedding rain night shots!! The perfect ending to a beautiful wedding day!
