A donut cake, first glance, beautiful pastel bridesmaid dresses, and scientific flasks for vases made for one beautiful and unique spring Morningside Inn wedding!

Gregory and Gen met through OK Cupid and describe their first date as a “comedy of errors.” Despite that, Genevieve found herself liking Greg so much she didn’t want the night to end!  Soon they found themselves falling in love as they spent time hiking, taking long walks through Bethesda, and going on dates to museums, the movies, and out to dinner. Their shared love for music, dancing, cider, cats,  and spending quality time with friends made their bond even stronger.  They also discovered a shared passion for traveling and have spent the last three years going on one adventure after the next be it quick weekend getaways to Ocean City and Chincoteague, to a bucket list trip down the coast of California, to Gen’s first time out of the country in Berchtesgaden, Munich, and Austria.  Knowing how important family is to Gen, Gregory proposed after her family reunion in Wintergreen, Virginia and Genevieve of course responded with a yes! They both consider themselves extremely blessed to be marrying their best friend and can only hope that the rest of their life together is as wonderful as their first three years have been! 

Genevieve is a scientist so it was only fitting that she used scientific glassware and a number of glass vials for their Morningside Inn reception.

Donut cake?? Yes please!

All of Genevieve and Greg’s dancing lessons paid off because their first dance was awesome!

I think they might have enjoyed the donut cake more than I did!
