I have dreamed of doing a spring Brookside Gardens engagement shoot and Genevieve and Greg finally made my dream come true! When we first scheduled their Brookside Gardens engagement shoot for the end of April we were afraid that all of the spring blooms would be gone.  Our worries were in vain because thanks to this miserably cold spring, the tulips were still in full bloom by the time we arrived!

Of course, we weren’t the only ones hoping to see tulips. I found myself getting in some pretty creative positions to try and block all of the other people taking pictures of the tulips. At one point, Genevieve almost got hit by a kid on a bike as he zoomed around one of the tulip bends! Thanks to a little flexibility (and a lot of photoshop) you would never know these two love birds didn’t have the whole gardens to themselves and that’s how I like it!

Genevieve and Greg are so stinkin cute together, this picture always makes me smile 🙂

I’m so in love with Genevieve’s sapphire pear ring and can’t wait to photograph it on their wedding day!

My favorite image of the evening! I almost never photograph near still water and it was so fun to play around with their reflections!
