Paris, France Styled Wedding Shoot
I can’t believe it’s been almost two years since I went to Paris, France and did a week-long photography workshop with Scott Robert Lim. I also can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog some of my photoshoots from there! I’m blaming it on the baby, but let’s be real, Savannah’s 14 months old now so it’s a pretty terrible excuse. Still, better late than never and today I’m bringing you a gorgeous Paris, France wedding styled shoot taken at the stunning Chateau de Maisons. Despite the gorgeous setting and my attractive models, this was definitely a challenging shoot. First, because we started photographing at 1pm so the sun was directly overhead and second because Elma and Sebastien only spoke French which is a language I’m far from fluent in. The majority of the time I just smiled and shouted, “Magnifique!” whenever they did something I loved. I’m sure they thought I was an idiot hahaha. I challenged myself to create a story out of the images, rather than just photographing them at randoms spots throughout the Chateau. I think the images speak for themselves and even two years later I’m in love with how they turned out. Incidentally, Elma and Sebastien are a real couple and are now expecting their first child!
