We’re kicking off the 2018 wedding season with a bang!  Check out this beautiful winter Holly Hills Country Club wedding! For a January wedding, Tarek & Elizabeth couldn’t have asked for better weather (okay, maybe a little less wind, but it’s hard to complain when the temperature was in the fifties!). I loved their neutral color palette of grays, creams, and steel blues.  The wedding details, from Elizabeth’s dress to their reception decor, were timeless, elegant, and simply beautiful. I told Elizabeth she looked like Jackie Kennedy or Audrey Hepburn with her classic updo and wedding gown and she said that was exactly the look she was going for! Tarek and Elizabeth are so sweet together, and though they insist they’re not photogenic I have to disagree! I loved watching them steal glances at each other during the ceremony and it was evident to all that this is a marriage that was meant to be 🙂

The weather was perfect right up until we stepped outside for bridal party pictures, and then it suddenly felt like we had literally stepped into a wind vortex! We found the only covered section that could provide some protection from the wind, but I still have to give a big thank you to Elizabeth and her sisters for braving the insane wind for a couple minutes.

Work it girl!

Even in the dead of winter, Holly Hills is beautiful. We headed inside to warm up, regroup, grab appetizers, and get a few more bridesmaid pictures with no wind threatening to blow us away! 

Holly Hills’ ballroom looked stunning! I loved the uplights and Blossom and Basket Boutique really did an incredible job with all of their floral arrangements and curtains with twinkle lights.

Elizabeth has four older brothers so we had to get a few images of them grabbing drinks at Holly Hills’ bar.

Congratulations, Tarek & Elizabeth! Your winter Holly Hills Country Club wedding was absolutely beautiful and it was been wonderful getting to know you two this past year!
