I love this couple. They are sweet, humble, funny, and love and serve the Lord. Matt and Sarah grew up only ten minutes from each other but didn’t meet until college when my matchmaking sister Rebecca (whose wedding you can find here) introduced the two of them. Although they shared classes and had secretly noticed each other, neither had spoken to the other prior to being introduced. Sarah admits that she would leave class slowly in hopes that Matt would catch up with her, and their friendship slowly grew.  Once Matt finally worked up the courage to ask Sarah out to lunch, the romance blossomed. Two years later, Matt got down on one knee and asked Sarah if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Sarah said yes, and a year later they celebrated their marriage with a stunning Glen Ellen Farm wedding.

I love the yellow bridesmaid dresses highlighted by the stunning sunflower bouquets crafted by the talented Ory Florals.  Every wedding, I look forward to the moment immediately following the ceremony when the bride and groom celebrate their first few minutes as husband and wife. The stress and anxiety fade, and the expressions of joy and love on their faces as reality sets in always warms my heart 🙂
