Thomas & Addie’s story is a sweet one. They met while they were young and while Addie’s family was initially a little wary of Thomas he soon found a place in their hearts. During the reception there were a number of toasts by both friends and family and the common theme was that Addie & Thomas not only belonged together but also belonged as a member of each other’s family. I especially loved seeing the special relationship that Thomas had formed with Addie’s grandmother.

Their wedding was a special day, but it was also a hot one! The sun was relentless at times, but Addie & Thomas didn’t let that detract from their day. It was also special that the ceremony and reception was held at Addie’s church, St. James Episcopal Church in Mt. Airy, MD.

It seems like every wedding I photograph the boys have difficulty getting properly attired. This wedding was no exception 😉

I’m very impressed with the amount of air the bridesmaids got in this pic! The bridal party wanted a shot in front of the playground so I let them get creative with it and I love how it turned out!

Towards the end of the evening the sunlight finally cooperated for us and we are able to get a few gorgeous last images of the two young love birds!
