As we all know, a wedding is a celebration of  two people joining as husband and wife.  Lori & Joe’s wedding, however, illustrated that it’s more about the joining of two families than two individuals.  Between them, Lori & Joe have seven children and I loved how they incorporated their children into their wedding day.  From all three daughters getting to try on Lori’s wedding dress, to many of their children being part of the ceremony, to the father-daughter and mother-son dances at the reception, it truly was a celebration of the importance of family; be it between a husband and wife, a parent and child, or siblings.

After getting wedding pictures around Downtown Frederick, it was time to head off to one of my favorite Frederick wedding venues: Holly Hills Country Club. 

I love that Joe’s mom made this beautiful wedding cake!
